How Price Floors Work
When you set minimumPrice on a formula or variant override, SpotMetal checks every computed price before writing to Shopify.
Write Skipping Logic
If the spot calculation would cause the retail price to drop below your floor, the engine skips the write update, preserving your margin.
Floor Breach Audit Logging
Every skipped price update records an entry in the Audit Log table with error code PRICE_FLOOR_BOUND.
