5-Step Quick Start Checklist

Follow this 5-step checklist to launch your first live-priced catalog item on Shopify.

Step 1: Verify Spot Feed Connection

Ensure the status indicator in Settings > Rate Feeds shows ● Active.

Step 2: Create Your First Pricing Formula

Go to Pricing > New Formula and configure your retail markup and fabrication fees.

Step 3: Assign Metal & Purity to a Product

Open any product in Shopify Admin. In the SpotMetal Product Admin Block, assign metal type, karat, and gram weight.

Step 4: Enable Storefront Ticker Marquee

In Theme Customize, add the SpotMetal Ticker Marquee block.

Step 5: Test a Live Sync Update

Verify live prices update accurately on your storefront.
